James Aldous, bass clarinet, plays with Nova Vista, Redwood, Diablo, and Bay Area Rainbow Symphonyiew and in chamber ensembles throughout California. He recently recorded ‘The Hollywood Collection Two’ at Warner Studios which will be released in May.

Grace Chen, Bb clarinet, grew up in China and the UK. She works full time in biopharma business development, and is the mother of two budding string players. She squeezes in chamber music in spare time.

Chris Farrell, Bb clarinet, is a software developer and writer who plays clarinet and bass clarinet with a number of chamber groups around the Bay Area. He also plays bass clarinet with the Palo Alto Philharmonic. 

Ann Guerra, Bb clarinet, after years of playing in concert bands, has discovered the joy of small ensemble interplay. She is currently playing in a Bay Area concert band, an orchestra, and several wind groups.

Julian Hsieh, violin, plays with the Stanford and Peninsula Symphonies and teaches masterclasses around the Bay Area. He has a dual degree in Business and Violin Performance from Carnegie Mellon.

Richard Krishnan, contrabass clarinet, is a multi-instrumentalist and educator who can most commonly be found in the evenings and weekends playing or conducting musicals throughout the Bay Area.

Austin Kwan, piano, studied with Madam Pee-Yaw Lim Wilkes, Natalya Thran and Xak Bjerken He has received numerous state and national awards. He also plays cello in Stanford orchestras. He is a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering at Stanford.

Changyi Yvonne Liu, basset horn, is originally from Taiwan. She is a full-time oncology nurse and a part-time musician, playing clarinet with concert bands and orchestra in the South Bay. Other than music, she also likes crocheting dolls and exploring gourmet food.

Emily Malamud, Eb & Bb clarinet, is a resident physician in Child Neurology at Stanford. Previously a high school band director and clarinet teacher, she currently plays clarinet in the Palo Alto Philharmonic and the Stanford Medicine Orchestra, which she sometimes conducfts.

Chia-Wei Vicky Tu, Bb clarinet & tambourine, works as a User Experience Designer in health tech; she performs with concert bands and chamber groups across the South Bay and sometimes in Taiwan.

Zhou Yi, cello, is a local music educator. She studied with Laurence Lesser at the New England Conservatory. She has performed concertos with the Shanghai Philharmonic and Xia Men Philharmonic. She released a solo album of Chinese works for cello.
