David Adams is the music director of the Foothill Symphonic Winds. A retired music teacher, he also adjudicates for music festivals. He holds music degrees from Boston University & San Jose State.
Marianne Beeler is principal flutist of the Livermore-Amador Symphony, a member of the Diablo Symphony Orchestra, the Hayward Municipal band, the Whirlwinds Trio and the Cantos quintet. She works at a CPA firm.
David Burkhart, on the faculty of SF Conservatory, has been principal trumpet and performed with many local orchestras and local groups, including the San Francisco Opera, Ballet, and Symphony. His recordings include a dozen CDs. He is also an award-winning author and historian.
Christy Diggins is a member of Diablo Symphony Orchestra and Contra Costa Wind Symphony, the Whirlwinds trio and other groups. She is an original member of the Mistral woodwind quintet.
Christina Kolotouros, moved to the Bay Area for work awhile ago. Retired from the computer software industry, she focuses on her two teens, and various woodwinds. She enjoys playing in concert bands, big bands, chamber music, popup orchestra, and pit for musicals.
Josh Korman has played piano for a long time, but he met Christina and Joyce playing the oboe at Peninsula Symphonic Band. He enjoys practicing with them amongst the rowing machine, Peloton, and squat rack.
Eva Langfeldt is the principal oboist of the Diablo Symphony Orchestra, the Livermore-Amador Symphony, and the Contra Costa Wind Symphony and plays in three woodwind quintets. She runs a freelance editing business.
Brent Herhold worked in music retail and plays tuba professionally. Brent has performed at major SF venues; has recorded at Skywalker Ranch; and has enjoyed many years with Altos Brass & Stanford Wind Symphony.
Brian Holmes is retired from San Jose State where he taught physics of music. He currently plays in Peninsula Symphony & the Mission Chamber Orchestra. He is a composer, writing mostly for voice & chorus, and is President of the American Beethoven Society.
John Monroe is principal trombone in the San Francisco Brass Band. He plays with the Stanford Trombone Quartet, Altos Brass Quintet, Brazzissimo, and more. He manages the family almond orchard and is a director at Blue Diamond Growers & the Stanford Jazz Workshop.
Chris Wilhite studied trumpet and composition at UCSB. He is principal trumpet of Symphony Parnassus and a member of Brazzissimo, the San Francisco Brass Band, Halkins Quintet, and Brassworks’ Gabriel’s Trumpets. He volunteers at the San Francisco Maritime National Park.
Joyce Wu moved to California from New Jersey for work. At her recent wedding, in lieu of a father-daughter dance, they performed a duet. While she is an accomplished flutist, Joyce has recently tackled the alto sax in hopes of performing with the concert band soon.
