Glenn Fisher, cello, began playing in the 5th grade, and started playing chamber music soon after with his family. He played inorchestra through college, then spent several summers playing at Music from Bear Valley. He was principal cellist of the Peninsula Symphony for 20 years. He performs regularly with a variety of groups in local chamber music concerts. His teachers include Gabor Reijto, Margaret Rowell, and currently Stephen Harrison.
Bill Horne, piano, has played since age six and has been a very avid chamber musician for the past 34 years. A retired psychiatrist, he is on the boards of Chamber Music Marin and Chamber Musicians of Northern California. He is retired from the Boards of ACMP, and InterMusic SF. He enjoys performing at workshops and amateur musical events.
Wangchen Long, violin, has played in Opera San Jose, Santa Cruz Symphony, San Jose Chamber Orchestra, West Bay Opera, and performed at the Adriatic Chamber Music Festival in Bonefro, Italy. She has taught strings at Prunedale Christian Academy in addition to a private studio. She studied violin with Daniel Kobialka, Heiichiro Ohyama, and Jenny Rudin.
Carolyn Lowenthal, violin, is an avid chamber musician and retired software engineer. She serves on the boards of Soirée Musicale, Chamber Musicians of Northern California, and Chamber Music Marin. She plays in Mission Chamber Orchestra of San Jose, and enjoys attending chamber music workshops and playing the viola.
Bill Palmer, violin and viola, is an avid chamber and orchestral musician. He is concertmaster of the Winchester Orchestra and has served in principal positions for a number of Bay Area orchestras and professional recordings. Recent solo appearances include the Beethoven Triple Concerto, Brahms Double Concerto, Mozart Sinfonia Concertante, and Rimsky-Korsakov Scheherazade. Bill will perform the Dvořák Violin Concerto in May with the Saratoga Symphony.
